MULTI-CORE EPS MOLD FOR HIGH DENSITY IN-MOLDED FOAM PART MANUFACTURING
 A customer asked us
to produce multiple, identical cavity tool geometry with 10 hand
set cores each. It also needed to fit a universal mounting system
for a manufacturing environment that was less than ideal. Each
cavity required a second set of hand set cores, 20 total, to
allow the molder to extract the foam parts and reload the hand
cores quickly for fastest possible cycle time. The complex molding
solution was developed quickly and efficiently. Our customers
understand that highly complex molding geometry is not a problem
for D8's design team.
