WE LIVE THE
Quality Management System (QMS) in everything we do. We believe
in building quality in our products and D8 employees are trained
to make customer expectations the focus of every decision.
INTERNATIONAL
STANDARDS
Our Quality
Management System is based on the ISO 9001:2000 Standard. The ISO 9000 family of standards is an internationally
recognized quality management system standard developed by the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2000 is process-based and enables organizations to
link business objectives with business effectiveness more directly.
CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
To be certified
to the standard, D8 implemented a QMS that accounts for a wide
range of processes, including training, customer communication,
meeting customer requirements, product design and development,
purchasing materials and services, and delivery. For D8's customers
and other stakeholders this means continual improvement of quality,
communication, on-time delivery, and value.
POSITIVE COMMENTS
D8's initial
assessment audit occurred in October 2002. D8 chose to partner
with BSI to achieve registration. The registration audit was
a tremendous success. D8 achieved registration with no identified
non-conformities.
D8 will continue
to partner with BSI to ensure continual improvement of the QMS
through routine surveillance audits.
