BENEFITS
Benefits extended to our full time employees
include the following:
Health
Care Benefits: Medical, including Major Medical, Prescription
Drugs, Vision Care, and Dental Care Insurance.
SIMPLE
IRA Program: This is a salary reduction retirement program where
the employee has the option of having some portion of his/her
wages withheld before taxes and deposited into accounts of the
employee's choosing within the qualified plan. D8 contributes
a percentage of the amount of the employee's gross pay for the
period the employee is participating in the plan.
Paid
Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor
Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are recognized as paid holidays.
Vacations:
After 1 year of regular, full time employment, employees are
eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation. After 2 years of regular
full time employment, employees are eligible for 80 hours of
paid vacation per year. After 5 years of regular, full time employment,
employees are eligible for 120 hours of paid vacation per year.
Wellness
Program: Employees have the opportunity to spend up to one hour
per day, during their regular work day, in addition to 8 regular
work hours, participating in some form of healthful exercise.
The pay rate for this Wellness time is at half their regular
hourly rate of pay. Employees may also choose to participate
in a Wellness Program point system to earn rewards by being active,
losing weight, or ceasing tobacco use.
Open
Door Policy: D8's flat management structure allows every employee
access to top management whenever needed.

CURRENT OPENINGS
Tooling Designer/CNC
Machinist
Design aluminum tooling and molds using
3D solid modeling software, use CAD/CAM software to create NC
tool paths, set-up and machine complex mold and model geometry.
The ideal candidate would be highly experienced in 3D modeling
using the latest version of SolidWorks, have depth of knowledge
in CNC machining using SurfCAM and the latest Haas machining
centers, and have an understanding of mold design and related
manufacturing techniques. Experience with the use of digitizing
equipment and related software would be a bonus.

Machinist
Sets up and operates CNC machining centers
to fabricate aluminum parts, applying knowledge of machine shop
theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials,
and layout techniques. CAD/CAM and CNC experience required, experience
with SolidWorks and/or SurfCAM preferred. The ideal candidate
will have a strong work ethic and excellent work history/references.
Positions available on first and second shifts.

Entry-level Moldmaker
Fits and assembles castings and machined
parts using hand-tools and power tools. Verifies dimensions and
alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as tapes
and calipers. Foundry, woodworking, and/or metalworking experience
is preferred.

Machining
Department Lead
Leads and manages personnel and workflow
in the machining department. Sets up and operates CNC machining
centers to fabricate aluminum parts, applying knowledge of machine
shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of
materials, and layout techniques. Management experience and CAD/CAM,
CNC, SolidWorks, and/or SurfCAM experience preferred.
